We are a busy physical therapy clinic looking for an energetic individual to become our front desk receptionist. Bilingual (Spanish) applicants are encouraged to apply.

Job Purpose:
Supports physical therapy care by providing scheduling and information services at the front desk of the clinic.

 

Duties Include:
* Prepares schedules month to month for patients.
* Answers multi-line telephone and emails.
* Assists Physical Therapist & PT Aide with patient treatment if needed.
* Maintains safe, clean organized working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Maintains company website and social media presence. 
*Maintains patient records and keeps track of insurance benefits and authorizations.
*Responsible for daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance.
*Orders physical therapy supplies and office supplies.
*Other duties as assigned.


Skills/Qualifications:
*Create a Safe, Effective Environment through Verbal Communication, Listening and Teamwork.
*Proficiently Skilled with computers, telephones and other office electronics is a REQUIREMENT. Computer Skills Examples: scanning, emailing, data entry, attaching files, printing, faxing, sending tasks, taking payments.
*Applicants need to have strong multitasking skills and be able to be on their feet if needed in the clinic. Frequent interruptions will happen in this position.
*Proficient with time management and coordination.
*Have reliable transportation.
*Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
*Have experience preparing company deposits.
*Experience with Microsoft programs and POS devices a plus.

 

Hours, Pay & Benefits:

The Receptionist position works Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm with a one-hour lunch. Benefits include paid holidays and PTO. Pay is $16.28 per hour.
